Authors Tayari Jones, Michael Malone and Daniel Wallace discussed the role of setting their fiction in the south.
The Book Club Movable Feast, held at SECCA, hosted 135 people and 14 authors!  It was a wonderful event where attendees were able to meet a lot of authors and win prizes.
When children visit our Young Readers Central Area, they receive a passport to earn a free book to take home. Exhibitors and hands on activities for children are also available.

All students received a copy of his book, Flowers for Mr. President, to bring home with them through BOOKMARKS Authors in Schools program. 4000 students (preschool to college age) were visited by authors in 2012.
