BOOKMARKS accepts open nominations for featured authors in the festival’s official venues.
Festival programming is a balanced mix of genres and topics, selected along the lines of the
festival’s official venues. Please read the requirements.
BOOKMARKS reserves the right to accept or reject any publication submitted, at its sole discretion.
I. If your book meets the criteria below:
Please send it to the address listed below for consideration.
- Hardcover or paperback must have been published within a year of the festival date. The 2008 festival is September 13.
- The book must be available through Barnes & Noble distribution.
- The book must have an ISBN number and bar code.
- No publish/print on demand/or nonreturnable books are accepted.
Please mail book along with bio and contact information, to be received by May 1, 2008, to:

II. If your book does not meet the above criteria:
- You may request to rent a 10’ x 10’ exhibitor booth for $300, before July 1, 2008, at which you may present, sell and sign your book(s). There is an additional $100 charge for electricity.
- You may collaborate with another author to jointly rent an exhibitor booth.
- Click here for an Exhibitor Registration Form, and mail along with your book(s), bio and contact information to the address above to be received prior to July 1, 2008.
- BOOKMARKS reserves the right to accept or reject any Exhibitor Registration submitted, at its sole discretion.
III. Notification:
- You will be notified only if the nomination or submission is accepted.
- BOOKMARKS reserves the right to accept or reject any nomination submitted, at its sole discretion.
